Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to the Body-OS web service available at body-os.fit and any related features ("Service"). The Service is operated by Body-OS ("we", "us").

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part, please do not use the Service.

Body-OS is an independent wellness service that reads data from your WHOOP wearable and turns it into daily guidance on sleep, recovery, and training load. Body-OS is not affiliated with or endorsed by WHOOP, Inc.

The Service is a wellness and lifestyle product. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Any output of the Service is informational only and does not replace consultation with a licensed physician.

You may use the Service if you are at least 16 years old (or older where local law requires), have legal capacity, and are not located in a jurisdiction where the Service is prohibited.

One account per person. You may not share account access with anyone else.

To use the Service you must create an account. You agree to:

• provide a valid email;
• keep your password confidential and never share it;
• notify us immediately at security@body-os.fit if you suspect unauthorized access;
• be responsible for all activity performed under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, attempts to circumvent security, or suspicious activity.

To use the Service, you voluntarily connect your WHOOP account via OAuth 2.0. You:

• explicitly consent to the WHOOP scopes listed in our Privacy Policy;
• may disconnect at any time in settings — we immediately revoke tokens via WHOOP's revoke endpoint;
• acknowledge that use of the WHOOP API is also subject to WHOOP's own terms, which you must comply with.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• attempt unauthorized access to other accounts, servers, or data;
• perform load testing, vulnerability scanning, or any automated attack without prior written permission;
• use the Service for any unlawful activity or activity that violates third-party rights;
• copy, modify, decompile, or reverse engineer the Service, except as expressly permitted by law;
• resell or repackage the Service or its outputs as a medical service;
• represent the Service's outputs as medical diagnosis, prognosis, or physician advice;
• use the Service to train third-party AI models.

The Service is provided "as is" for general self-tracking. You make all decisions about training, recovery, and lifestyle on your own and at your own risk. You must consult a licensed physician before starting any training program, especially if you have chronic conditions, recent injuries, are pregnant, or have other contraindications.

Body-OS is not liable for injuries, health deterioration, or any other adverse outcomes that may result from following the Service's recommendations.

Some features of the Service may be offered for a fee. Pricing, payment terms, and refund policy are published on the pricing page and become part of these Terms upon payment confirmation.

Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled in settings. Fees already charged for the current period are non-refundable except as required by law.

All rights in the Service, its design, source code, content, logos, and other materials belong to Body-OS or its licensors.

Your data (including WHOOP data imported with your consent) belongs to you. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process it as necessary to operate the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

WHOOP® is a registered trademark of WHOOP, Inc. and is referenced for informational purposes only.

You may delete your account at any time in settings or by contacting privacy@body-os.fit. We permanently erase your data within 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, applicable law, or pose a risk to other users.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Body-OS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Body-OS' total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount actually paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email and/or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect confirms your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws agreed between the parties in supplementary agreements. The parties will use good-faith efforts to resolve disputes through negotiation before resorting to litigation.
